Kim Clement was born September 30, 1956, in South Africa, a nation divided by apartheid. In 1978, Kim married Jane Elizabeth Barnes in Durban, South Africa, and they now have 5 children.
In 1991, Kim moved with his family to the USA. Kim began “The Warriors of the New Millennium,” an outreach to wounded people within the City of Detroit, Michigan, which has now also spread widely throughout the USA.
Kim’s prophetic ministry reaches countless people as he travels around the world to reveal the heartbeat of God in tragedy and triumph, good times and bad, war and peace, in democratic or theocratic circles, crossing all cultural barriers by communicating God’s feelings for them.
Kim’s gatherings are full of intense energy and beautiful, spontaneous music. He creates a moment of communion and evocation that breaks down barriers of cynicism and doubt and thrusts the hearer into the reality of their destiny.
Kim’s appearances on TBN and other television networks reach millions worldwide.
Kim has performed and will continue to share his inspired messages in venues like the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, The House of Blues in Hollywood, California, and other public venues including schools, colleges, and prisons.
Notable Retrospective
In 1974, Kim completed his first major motion picture film score for A Winters Tale, a Sheppard/Farmer film of Australia.
In 1996, Kim performed at Washington for Jesus on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, where over 200,000 people were gathered.
Kim has received various invitations to open sessions of The House of Representatives as the guest minister in Washington D.C.
In 1992, Kim wrote The Sound of His Voice, a biographical book of his life and the phenomenon of the prophet.
Kim has produced scores of live performance audiotapes, CDs, and DVDs documenting his moments of musical worship and prophetic communion.
In 1993, Kim received an Honorary Citizen Award from the Mayor of Houston, Texas, and a Recognition Award for continued ministry in the city. In 1995, Kim also received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity.
Since 1995, Kim has traveled to Detroit, Michigan on a monthly basis to help establish The Warriors of the New Millennium for those who have been wounded by present day religion and its trappings.

THE PRAISETOYS CONNECTION
TO KIM CLEMENT:
As owners of PraiseToys, Kathy and Bill Latocki have been extremely blessed to be part of Kim’s ministry in many ways for many years. They were first invited, by their friends the Wheatley family, to one of Kim’s Detroit gatherings at “the Dome” which was Pastor C.L. Johnston’s New Life Metro Church.
A few months later Bill’s friend, Don Fraser, introduced him to Kim through his guitarist and product manager (at the time), John Walker. Because of that connection, Bill’s ad agency http://www.latocki.com, ended up designing 3 music CDs and other promotional and informational literature for Kim’s ministry. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that Don Fraser informed Kim that Bill was also a prophetic drummer and percussionist. Kim immediately invited Bill, and his pile of percussion toys, to the next Detroit Gathering.
Today Bill and Kathy are blessed to be monthly partners with Kim’s ministry. Bill also ministers with his percussion along side Kim at his Warrior Gatherings whenever they are within driving distance (Detroit or Toledo). Bill plays percussion (congas, djembe, cymbals, and other hand percussion toys) while Kathy stays in the congregation and dances, shouts and constantly smiles. She has actually seen gold dust appear on her face and hands at several Kim Clement gatherings.
