Praise triggers vision of our nation under God's power.

INTRODUCTION; Diane is a regular praise warrior at the Wellspring Praise Center. At a recent praise gathering she had this amazing vision while the team was in spontaneous, improvised praise and worship:

As Reverand Dick Blank started playing his saxophone, I saw wisps of smoke rising in the air. It seemed like all of us were in the smoke as it rose and danced into the air. As the music changed, I saw sparks flying off in all directions, but the central movement was rising higher and higher. At one time when the sound was especially loud, I saw angels encircling us and giving each of us a boost to go higher. Revelation 8:4 – “And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.”

Then I saw a map of the United States. I was looking down on it. The entire nation was a bed of dark coals. I felt like God was saying that the prayers of faithful worshipers kept isolated coals burning. It was like they were turning over isolated coals – just enough to keep them from going out. 1 Peter 4:7 – “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.”

Then I saw fires starting around the nation – there was the one where we were praising. Hebrews 13:15 – “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Then I saw a fire in New Mexico (just minutes earlier Bill Latocki had shared an email he received from a pastor friend in New Mexico about a revival breaking out there _that was caused by spontanious praise!!!) I also saw a fire over Florida and I thought of Karen’s friend, Sharon, worshipping there. I felt the Holy Spirit was fanning these fires as they blazed in separate areas.

Over Washington D.C., I saw a large fountain spraying water over the area (seemed to be trying to extinguish the coals). But then under the fountain, I saw the prayer walkers crisscrossing the region. Psalm 145:18-20 – “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” Their prayers formed a covering over the coals and kept the water from putting out the fire.

I saw the forest fires in California and felt they were burning up sin. I also saw the earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico shaking up things on the earth. Volcanoes spewed forth sparks and ashes. This seemed to be part of a cleansing process. Matthew 3:12 – “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Then I saw children (maybe youth) with sticks poking around in the coals. I felt they wanted to experience more fire, and that their enthusiasm for God would cause fires to spring up across the nation. Matthew 18:3 – “…Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Then it seemed as though we all became campstools around the fire. Jesus came and sat on the stools and fellowshipped with us.

Finally, when the drums hushed to a mere whisper, I felt that was the promise. The Holy Spirit would come with such power that the rushing mighty wind would sweep over the nation. Acts 2:2 – “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” God is preparing tender hearts to serve as tinder for His fire. When that fire starts and the coals are bursting into flames, there will be no denial, no missing the fact that our God is real, and He is coming again to this nation in power!

Then it seemed as though we all became campstools around the fire. Jesus came and sat on the stools and fellowshipped with us.
